Kids classes, after-school care and holiday programmes in Auckland

The list covers urban Auckland: the North Shore up to Long Bay and Albany, West Auckland out to Swanson, the central suburbs, East Auckland from Howick to Maraetai and South Auckland down to Papakura. The activities with the most providers are dance, art and football; the suburbs with the most are Rosedale, Henderson and Remuera. When the school bell goes, a child can head to a class or a club practice that starts at a set time, or stay at after-school care (OSCAR), where staff look after children into the early evening. In the term breaks and over the summer holidays, holiday programmes take children for the day.
